Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to make a difference. Wherever life has lead me, that driving goal continues pushing me ahead. I’ve found myself on a new journey by starting my own practice. Why? I had a great job, worked with amazing people, loved the practice, and enjoyed seeing my clients smiling faces.
While making this decision, I find comfort in these quotes:
I took a risk to start something that I’ve always wanted too, but never found the right moment. I finally took the leap and risked it all to follow my dreams of making a difference in the lives of others. My whole life has led me here. Along the way, I’ve had so many mentors, leaders, friends and family members encouraging me and giving me guidance. It’s for those in my life that I’ve become the person I have today willing to take a risk to see how it turns out.
When starting up, there were a lot of questions that ran through my mind. The biggest one is: what if I fail. There’s no answer that I have for that other than I will not let myself fail as I only will have myself to blame. While I do not know what’s ahead, all the people in my life have given me the tools, stories, tips, and knowledge to help me find the answers or to reach out for help.
At this point in my life, I know it’s okay to ask for help and to know that I can’t do it all myself. Yes, my practice is just me now, but not really. I say that because I have my friends, family and mentors behind me cheering me on and forward. Without the people in my life, I don’t know who I’d be. I want to do the same for those I meet in my practice and help them through their life moments. Being a trusted advisor and attorney.
